Prof. Claudio Bohórquez is playing our CELLO PEREPTUAL strings in combination with the new C EDITION STARK string. You can enjoy his music for example at his IDAGIO live concerts. Lynn Harrell, who worked with us as an intellectual advisor for so many years, has passed away in April 2020. We are very sad. May his memory and music forever stay alive in our hearts. To honor the outstanding work of Lynn Harrell the Carnegie Hall has realized an online “Live at Carnegie Hall tribute to Lynn Harrell” concert.

Steven Isserlis streamed a children’s concert during the lockdown – now available to watch on-demand via Tutti’s Youtube Channel.

Mischa Maisky is sharing the gift of music by presenting some new videos from past concerts on his Youtube channel.

Amit Peled will repeat the success of his first Online Cello Academy hold in May 2020. PIRASTRO is happy to announce to give a scholarship funds for the second Amit Peled Online Cello Academy from August 5-13, 2020. In response to the new era of social distancing, international cello soloist and pedagogue Amit Peled invites cellists for an intensive eight-day hard-core cello workout—online! As well Amit Peled has published a lot of videos on his Youtube channel playing the cello during the quarantine time.

Julian Schwarz our fellow artist had a VC LIVING ROOM LIVE performance on The Violin Channel on May 1st 2020.

Jacob Shaw founded his Scandinavian Cello School in 2016 to support, educate and promote young cellists. Scandinavian Cello School with accommodation, Cello lessons or career boost sessions is now fully open again. Beneath that all tutorials can be continued free of charge online face-to-face.
